I believe most video cards are able to output both DVI-D and DVI-A
(referred to as a DVI-I connector). I'd suspect perhaps the DVI cable
you're using is a DVI-A cable. You can tell from the pinouts:

I haven't actually tried w/a 5200-series card (the one I have doesn't
have a DVI out), but it ought to work. It Just Works with the 6200-
series and 4-series cards I've tried.
