If you upgrade to a kernel where the cx88_dvb module is part of the 
kernel (FC5 or FC6) you do not need to modprobe the module at all. And 
you do not need to play games in rc.local, UNLESS your kernel keeps 
loading the cx8800 module first (which steals /dev/video0 which you may 
not want if you wish your PVR150 etc to show up there).
