[mythtv-users] starting mythfrontend causes floating point exception

AMD XP2500 in 32 bit mode and the mythtv compile configured itself 
correctly as -march=k8. Binaries compiled with gcc

% gcc -v
Using built-in specs.
Target: i686-linux
Configured with: ../gcc-4.0.3/configure --disable-static --prefix=/usr 
--disable-nls --with-system-zlib i686-linux
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.0.3
htpc ~/mythtv/mythtv%

What CPU are you using and how did you compile your binaries?

Sounds like the code is asking the CPU to do something it is not
capable of, but that sort of thing is way out of my league :-)
