[mythtv-users] Encrypted Cable channels How do they do it?

Ha!  What fortunate place do you live in???

Time Warner Cable here in Los Angeles has encrypted everything on firewire
from the STB now.  The only thing I can use the 1394 port for is to change
channels on the box.

Even before they did this, I could only get the same channels via firewire
as I now do with my QAM tuner...most are/were encrypted.
