[mythtv-users] Transcode multithread and h.264 avc

Hi Guys
Now that hard disc drives are low low in cost, and we have quad core
processors
I'm revisiting the whole idea of archiving my entire DVD collection to
MythTV.

When I last looked at this a few years ago trascode to Xvid was V Slow
on Athalon 2400
anyone with experience with multithreaded transcode, especially to h.264
avc, as I want to keep max quality with min space.
