[mythtv-users] slightly OT: mysql's HUGE /var/lib/mysql/hostname-bin.nnnnn files?

This is more of a MySQL question, but MythTV is the only app I have
using MySQL so...

Does anyone else have these huge (400MB) files being created in
/var/lib/mysql with the name hostname-bin.nnnn (where "hostname" is
your computer's hostname and nnnn is a 6-digit number)?

These files are eating up a lot of disk space.  Can I delete them?
