[mythtv-users] tv_grab_uk_rt hanging?

I have just purchased a new nova-t-500 dual tuner card and installed it. 
  I have deleted all other cards on my system.

When I try and configure the card it hangs in mythsetup, video sources 
when I select UK

I can see it is running

sh -c tv_grab_uk_rt --config-file 
'/home/mythtv/.mythtv/dvb-tuner1.xmltv' --configure

but it never completes and strace shows the perl process doing nothing

Running

sh -c tv_grab_uk_rt --config-file 
'/home/mythtv/.mythtv/dvb-tuner1.xmltv' --configure

manually outputs channel information to stdout and seems to work

Any thoughts?
