I have been seeing some recordings with the same issue.  For me, the 
problem occurs only (and always) when both of my PVRx50s are recording 
at the same time as I am recording from the HDHR.  The HDHR recording 
will clear up around the 30 minute mark if one of the PVRs stops 
recording.  I have not had anytime to investigate yet, but was assuming 
it was an IO saturation issue.

Hopefully this gives you another data point.  If I figure anything out, 
I'll post back again.
