My 1.66GHz core duo Mini handles HD video fine.   But, I'm displaying
on a 720P DLP TV.

I don't think the video scaling is a CPU operation, I think that's a
function of the GPU and the overlay it's drawn to.    I have seen
other reports of this stuttering, when scaling 480i on a 1080p
display.  But, I don't know if they found a workaround.
