Did you restart apache?

I'll let you read that second line there...   those aren't "loaded
modules" which is apparently what your version of mod_rewrite is.

Try running apachectl again and seeing what other errors show up (and
please let me know so that I can include this stuff in the install
documentation or the wiki).
