Are you sure that MPEG-2 is the right device? I thought that was only
for ivtv cards. Does this card use DVB drivers because if it does it
should be set as a DVB device.

Are you sure about this Kevin? Should it be set to DVB even though Analogue is the part used?
I'm having trouble getting the cx88-blackbird module to work at all. If i cat /dev/video1 > xx.mpg it says that it's an invalid command. MythTV will not recognize it either. Right now I only have software endcoding and a really bad picture. I hope the development on the driver will progress a little bit.
Is there anyone who has the Huappauge HVR-1300 with blackbird working under MythTV??
