I'm glad to hear you've got XFS working Ian. My statement was pretty general
because the message I saw here was pretty general. I'm trying to *find* more
specific information.
All I know is my host was crashing when recording SD programming off of an
HD-5500 capture card. HD seemed to work, however. After reformatting my myth
video partition to ext3, it's working (so far!!) like a champ.
I am aware of the 4k vs. 8k stack issue. This an x86_64 host, so that
shouldn't be an issue. The kernel messages I was receiving on a crash sure
looked like the problem was somewhere among the collection of cx88 drivers.
But I can't see how that would intersect with a FS issue.
