[mythtv-users] playback is smooth, yet lacking... seems like smootly missing frames

This sounds much like what I saw when running Bob deinterlacing with
OpenGL timing turned on in mythfrontend with a pre-9xxx Nvidia
driver. (I can no longer see a difference whether OpenGL is on or off,
but I don't know if it's due to a later MythTV revision or the
driver.)
