[mythtv-users] how often are mythTV-related RPM's updated for new kernels?

Hi All,

I'm following the Wilson walk-thru for setting up MythTV on Fedora 6. 
Several package installs depend on a specific kernel version (like ivtv
and alsa).  Since there was a new kernel not that long ago on Fedora
(2.6.22.14-72 currently), when can one typically expect corresponding rpms
to be available?

I'm assuming I just have to wait for new rpms and that the older kernel
rpms are not compatible unless it's against a matching kernel.
