Sounds like a great single point of total failure :-)

I suspect that few home networks really need local DNS. Most people
running an RFC1918 network at home use the DHCP server that's usually
built into a router, although those usually have limited features.

But for anyone who does need all that, it sounds like a reasonable answer.
