Wow... the telepathy rays are working today... I just independently
came to the same conclusion last night, though I was going to go
PCMCIA, and you're right, USB2 is easier.

The problem is genlocking onto the analog VGA output and redigitizing
it; this is *highly* non-trivial.

But you're right, it would be damned handy.
