[mythtv-users] Downscaling DVD to VESA resolution with xine

I'm using Mythbuntu 7.10 and trying to playback DVDs using Xine. The problem is, my TV only supports VESA (640x480) resolution, so I set my MythTV box to this resolution. When I play a PAL DVD with a higher resolution, the picture is cropped.

How do I tell xine (or the internal MythDVD player) to downscale the resolution to 640x480, so that it's displayed correctly?
