[mythtv-users] Ringbuffer size

Is there any rules what is "optimal" ringbuffer size? Or is bigger
allways better if enough ram is available?

I have set my ringbuffer to 96MB. I have three frontends and three DVB-T
cards.
I have 1GB ram on backend.

I am just wondering, if smaller ringbuffer could increase channel change
speed or something else?
Or is there any disadvantages to use too big ringbuffer except ram usage?

Any experiences?
