[mythtv-users] Primary Backend pure storage.

Hi,

I'm trying to install a Primary backen on ubuntu that is only used for
storage more or less. It doesn't have a tv card and that is causing some
problems.
When I try to connect to the backend from the frontend I'm installing I
cannot connect. Checking the backend I get this information about mysql:

/var/lib/mythtv/recordings/nfslockfile.lock: Permission denied
Unable to open lockfile!
Be sure that '/var/lib/mythtv/recordings' exists and that both
the directory and that file are writeable by this user.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Does it mean that I have to have a tv-card in the backen before I can
continue?
