You could also try reading the email you're replying to before posting.
To the original emailer: You will not notice a difference. SD over
component can sometimes look nicer (reference quality DVDs, etc), but
SVideo is more than adequate for cable TV capture.
Also, you WILL notice a difference between svideo and composite. A HUGE one.
