[mythtv-users] Connection to the master backend has gone away

So, I've been fighting with this problem for quite some time-

When I leave my myth box in the "watch recordings" window, eventually the connection to the master backend server goes away, and the front end locks up. I'm forced the kill the process and restart.

I've used fedora core 7 with myth installed, and now I've tried knoppmyth- all with the same behavior.

What gives?
