I have DVB-T up and running with a Hauppauge Nova-T 500 PCI except for ONE
nagging problem. When I scan in mythtv-setup, all channels except a few
doesn't work. But if I use dvb-apps/scan and create a channels.conf and then
try to tzap it, I get a lock!
da at brutus:~$ tzap "Aftonbladet TV7"
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
tuning to 794000000 Hz
video pid 0x0333, audio pid 0x0332
status 0b | signal 8a23 | snr 0000 | ber 001fffff | unc 0000045a |
status 1f | signal 8a9a | snr 0000 | ber 00016d70 | unc 000001a6 |
status 1f | signal 8ac3 | snr 0000 | ber 0001f290 | unc 00000000 |
This is the contents of channels.conf (I have only the problematic channels
in there right now):
da at brutus:~$ cat .tzap/channels.conf
Even if I import channels.conf into MythTV I get the same problem. No
lock... Also, when I scanned with Kaffeine I can watch the channels. So I
don't think the problem is with the Antenna.
I'm not really sure this is relevant, but I drop it here anyway: The
frequency table has different "nets" and I think it's channels from _one_ of
these nets that doesn't work. The table is here:
And the transmitter is "Malmö Jägersro". It's Net 5.
I run Kubuntu 7.10 mythtv version "0.20.2-0ubuntu10", and a few-days-ago-old
v4l-dvb from svn. Thanks for any help.
