[mythtv-users] Sharp 46X20E, nv 5200 - strange issue...

Hi *

I'm setting up new system based on R5F27, nv 5200 with DVI connected to 
HDMI and Sharp 46X20E LCD.

I have quite strange issue:

With DVI TV is recognized by 5200 (but single line with SHARP and basic 
info string) but there is no any EDID info about modes. This is the same 
with VGA output.
I put modeline 1920x1080 modeline. Xorg.log shows no errors (mode 
validated, virt screen setup, etc), but screen is black :-( .
In fact TV connected via DVI-HDMI didn't show even BIOS....(fortunately 
it shows with VGA).

ppl, do You belive it is problem of broken DVI on gf or rather 
incomparability issue ?
I have nv 9755. I've heard that this version has problems with EDID. Is 
it possible ?
Did somebody had the same problems or it is rater only my 5200 problem.

My 46X20E work well with 7050PV based mobo (AN-M2HD). But before being 
forced to upgrade I want to be sure that 1080p via HDMI is impossible on 
my production FE/BE based on old 5200 AGP gf.
