Looks like you have video configuration issues - check your driver and
Xorg configuration:

Install the nvidia binary driver and ensure that at least OpenGL and
Xv (and probably XvMC) support is configured correctly for your
display. You can test with mplayer using the -vo option to control
which video output to use.
