Our mails crossed, so you have the opposite case of what I described
in the other mail - still some confusion in yum which you can help to
dissolve: Remove the kmdl and then issue

yum install nvidia-graphics100.14.19-kmdl-`uname -r`.i686

so yum has no chance of picking something wrong. Still a bad choice
for yum to choose i585 kmdl over i686. If you like file a bug against
yum in bugzilla.redhat.com.
