Yea, I would suggest blowing away everything sipie related (even in the
/usr/bin directory), including the .sipie folder in the home directory. If
you get to the same point and see the song name, but hear no stream, do a
quick "ps ax | grep mplayer" and see if you get a <defunct> or if you see a
couple of mplayer streams.
