"I've put together a perl script which posts a summary (show name,
broadcast time and channel) of your recorded shows to twitter.com."

I apologize if my original post was not clear enough.

Anyone familiar with the twitter service will be aware it offers a
simple interface (and excellent API) to share tidbits of information.
