Some. Basically, in SVN trunk, there's a new approach for getting
channel icons that downloads a URI from a new server that Chris Petersen
set up for "services" (such as finding channel icons ;). The script
that downloads the URI's (and then the icons) for you will allow users
to choose an appropriate icon for the channel when one doesn't exist in
the database. Once the icon is chosen, it can report back to the server
which icon the user decided was appropriate. When Chris sees that
several users have chosen the same icon for a specific channel, he
"approves" the icon and it goes into the DB for any future users to find
automatically.

So, if enough people from your non-US country are running SVN trunk and
have used channel_icons.pl (and did so before the last update to
master_iconmap.xml), then, yes, it supports your country. If not, you
just need to convince more people in your broadcast area to run SVN
trunk and use channel_icons.pl.

Unfortunately, channel_icons.pl requires features that are only
available in SVN trunk, so it won't work with 0.20.2. But, hearing
about it gives you a nice little preview of one of the great new
features of 0.21. :)

Chris will soon be updating the master_iconmap.xml in trunk with the one
from services, then "backporting" (copying) the new one to 0.20-fixes,
so the most up-to-date version will soon be available in -fixes. At
that point, I'll write up more information for users.

Mike
