[mythtv-users] Mythvideo: Internal Player, mplayer or Xine which is prefered?

I use mplayer because I was too lazy to try Internal player.

I also read about Internal's problems with subtitles and I was not
sure does the Internal player support subtitles in external files or
in mkv.


So here I am ... with a few questions ... If someone does not mind to answer:
1. does the Internal player can handle avi's etc. with external
subtitles (in separate files like srt,sub)?
2. does it work with mkv?
3. does it work with multiple sound streams in mkv?
