[mythtv-users] Moving file out of recordings

I recorded a movie and the file is in the /storage/recordings.  I would like
to move it to /storage/movies and have it in my movie library.
 
Can I just move the file in the OS, or will Myth get screwed up if the file
disappears from the recordings directory?
