[mythtv-users] Cannot load lirc_serial

Hi.
I installed Lirc on my Ubuntu 7.04 system and now I'm trying to configure it.
I installed it following the guide at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Install_Lirc_Feisty.
I compiled the Lirc modules with module-assistant and I configured
/etc/lirc/hardware.conf to automatically load the lirc_dev and
lirc_serial modules at the system startup.
Lirc_dev loads without problems, but when I try to modprobe
lirc_serial I get this error in the syslog:

I didn't understand what is the problem, as the module compilation
process ended without any error.
I'm using the "2.6.20-15-generic" kernel.
