[mythtv-users] MythWeather - And MythWeather-revamp w/ RPMs (fedora)

That was the intention as far as I understand, however -revamp is not a finished product.  It was started as part of last year's Google Summer of Code, but was not completed.  Therefore, it's sitting in SVN until someone else has the time / interest to work on it.

Yes, this has confused me too.  Is the current MythWeather dead
and the “revamp” going to replace it?

All:

Ok, so i'm just about to do a full system reinstall to
x86_64 in about 2 weeks.  After using MythTV for about the last 6 months
i've determined to do a few things "more right" with this new
install.  One of those is to get MythWeather working again (as it's been
broken since .19 and hasn't worked in a couple weeks after, I guess, MSNBC
changed their format?)

So, i've read there is a working MythWeather in MythWeather-revamp, however I
have a question about this.

From what I can tell, -revamp is in SVN only.  I haven't run across
anything about it being ported into -fixes or any of the other releases.
One of the things I would prefer is to continue to be able to use yum/etc to
keep my myth system up to date.

Is there any way to make MythWeather-revamp work through a standard Fedora Core
6 installation using RPMs for Myth?  I have no problems compiling things,
but i'd prefer for as much of Myth to come from the ATRPMs rpms as possible to
keep updates fairly easy.

Anything written about how to manage MythWeather-revamp into an RPM
installation of Myth on Fedora?
