It's a good job it's only TV we're talking about here and not
somethings that's actually important...

If you're still using the same machine that's been causing all the
problems you've posted about in the past, I'd suggest using a
different machine or at least thoroughly testing all current hardware
and cleanly reinstalling with an up to date distribution. You don't
say which version of MythTV you're using here, but update to at least
the latest 0.20-fixes. As you subscribe to the list, you'll know what
information could potentially help us help you, so feel free to post
some relevant logs. I'm sure someone will take a peek.
