I was thinking about Storage Groups, and was wondering if I could use them
to partition recordings between temporary and more permanent things. Most
of my myth stuff is Simpsons and cooking shows, which I am happy to have go
away eventually. Some stuff, such as NOVA episodes, are more important, and
I would like them as part of my collection. Can I set things up so that
transcoded files are stored differently from everything else. That way I
can back them up to another machine, and if things go bad I will at least
keep them. I suppose that I can use rsync and take advantage of the fact
that the mpeg4 files have the .nuv extension, but it would be so much cooler
if I could have transcode work out the details for me.
