I need to tweak my ATSC antenna a bit.
The good news is, I got my antenna today, and MythTV is all setup and
running, my air2pc card is working, the configuration is working,
everything seems configured fine from the hardware/software end.
The bad news is, my ATSC reception isn't so great... I get really
jumpy picture and sound, they are in sync, but only play about 1/2
second, and then skip 1/2 second. The picture seems decent when it's
there, but then I get massive pixilization noise every 5 to 10
seconds.
I'm new to ATSC, this is my first try at getting OTA DT ever. I am
assuming the above is issue is noise from weak signal? So, I'm
wondering:
What's they best way to pull up a signal strength meter on a MythTV
system so I can tune my antenna?
When I did a channel scan, it showed a signal strength meter, with
Signal Strength, S/N ratio, etc... If I could get that, stopped on
one channel, and watch the meter as I tweak my antenna position, that
would be GREAT... How to?
