[mythtv-users] No Livetv on frontend without backend

Have you got all of your frontends pointing to the same database
server and master backend, and configured only the capture cards and
input connections on the slave backend in mythtvsetup? Configuration
of video sources should be done on the master backend only.

You need to make sure that your remote frontends are not connecting to
local mysqld processes and have firewall/sql access rights to the
mysql server containing the mythconvery database for MythTV.

You could easily be running 2 separate frontend/backend systems
without realising. Do you see the slave backend successfully connect
to the master backend server in the MBE logfile?
