A big thanks goes to Jeff on this one! He pointed me to the wiki entry for a
37" Vizio which held the key settings for the NVidia video card section...
You were on the right path Henrick, thanks for the help.

       Option          "AddARGBVisuals"                "True"
       Option          "AddARGBGLXVisuals"             "True"
       Option "ModeValidation" "NoWidthAlignmentCheck"

Everything is working correctly now.
