One tip that was posted to the list recently was to configure your
wireless card to connect at less than maximum speed to the AP -
perhaps 48Mb/s instead of the optimum 54Mb/s for 802.11g, and see if
this helps. If your wireless card is always trying to negotiate a
54MB/s connection it may not always be successful, causing a drop and
a stutter. You may get a more 'solid' connection at a lower speed
which is still plenty fast enough to handle playback.
