Hi,

Still a newbie here....I thought I'd finally gotten everything
configured to my liking, and I managed to screw something up.

Ok, first, this is Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, totally updated (almost
release!), and the 0.20-fixes branch.

Earlier tonight, I was recording (up to 4 concurrent HD shows at once!),
watching, auto-skipping commercials, everything was fine.....then I
rebooted, and it all went to hell....:-(

Backend seems to be up and running just fine. When I start
mythfrontend, it seemed to just hang....I tried w/ '-v all', and I see:
2007-04-18 02:31:25.442 /dev/scd0 Tray open
2007-04-18 02:31:25.959 /dev/scd0 Tray open
2007-04-18 02:31:26.482 /dev/scd0 Tray open
2007-04-18 02:31:27.000 /dev/scd0 Tray open
2007-04-18 02:31:27.518 /dev/scd0 Tray open
2007-04-18 02:31:28.036 /dev/scd0 Tray open
2007-04-18 02:31:28.558 /dev/scd0 Tray open
2007-04-18 02:31:29.076 /dev/scd0 Tray open
....

Over and over again....any clues?

Oh, and the frontend window never comes up. I just see that 'Tray open'
message in the window where I ran the mythfrontend command....

Also, the CD/DVD drive tray is closed, not open, and there is no media
in the drive.

Any clues for the clueless?

AdvThanksance,

-Mark
