I bought one of these from eBay. You need to load the uinput kernel
module and download and build the source to kbdd (can't remember url
but you can find it via google) - then you setup your .lircrc file to
map the keys from the internal keyboard to kbdd.

I wouldn't like to use the keyboard for extended bouts of typing but
its great for short periods.
