Hmm.. I can't seem to get the VGA connection to look as good as the 
component connection.  I looked at the modelines wiki page, and tried out:
                Modes   "1280x768_60" "1280x720_60" "720x480_60"
X picked 1280x720_60 initially, but the picture was waaay up and to the 
left.  I added the 1280x768_60 entry after seeing the entry in the wiki 
further down.  That brought up what looked to be the same picture, but 
more centered on the screen.  That was then easily adjusted via the TV 
itself.

However, the clarity of the picture seemed to be a bit less.  I'm not 
sure how to describe it, but the V in "Watch TV" for the Mythcenter-wide 
theme was jagged vs the crisp picture via component.  I do have:
 option "DPI" "100x100"
enabled, but on or off, it behaved the same.
