5C'd channels may still be encrypted on the line, it just allows the
box to send the signal over the firewire. I don't see why if 5C=0 on
those channels you can't get them over firewire. All I can think is to
try with the test_mpeg2 utility and just keep retrying with it (like I
said, it took me anywhere from 1-10 times for it to work for me, but
eventually it grabbed everything). If this works, perhaps an upgrade
to SVN is in your future.
