Hi there,

Do you think you could possibly explain a little more for the benefit
of someone as dumb as me, please?

The satellite dish I've been given is a "Triax" brand "Zone 1
digidish" and the arm on which the LNB is mounted is metal
(aluminium?) tube, rectangular in cross-section. This arm's
dimensions are about 1cm x 2cm (or maybe 1/2" x 1") and a slot is cut
into the underside for a locator pin which ensures the LNB is fitted
the right way up; also on the underside, about an inch from the end,
is a hole which accommodates a cross-head screw which secures the LNB
to this arm.

Is there a technical name for this kind of fitting? One that will
ensure I don't end up buying the wrong kind of LNB.

The photo on this auction is too small to allow me to see whether it
is the same as mine - but this does seem like a bargain price and
"once there gone, there gone".

Stroller.
