Sorry, I meant to ask this in my previous email.  Given that we're
talking about integrating this in with MythTV, is there a way to get
mplayer to output the audio to a wav/mp3 file instead of the mixer?  I
briefly played with some of the mplayer options, but couldn't find one
that worked.
