Yea, both of my machines have it installed but I'm getting a bus error 
on the one that doesn't pop-up correctly. I should have it figured out 
shortly.

Here is the RPM that might work on FC5: 
ftp://ftp.pbone.net/mirror/people-redhat.com/jdennis/notify-python-0.1.0-1.i386.rpm. 
Hopefully your instance works after you get that installed.
