We use the infrant boxes at work for AMANDA backups of servers, and have
found them to be very reliable. I can't comment about speed, as this is
just copying backups around at 3AM. It may be cheaper buying the readynas
without hard drives, then buying them on your own. It also might be a
bit safer, as you could buy drives from different vendors or lots to
minimize the chance that more than one fail at the same time.
