[mythtv-users] Blue Screen randomness on FC6

Hi all,

In a FC6 (2.6.19-1.2911.6.5) mythtv install, tuners are detected correctly (one PVR-150, one PVR-500), and no apparent problems watching tv or recording. However, after leaving myth on one of the menus for an hour or so, I come back to find a blue screen displayed. Frontend is still operating behind this blue, apparently, as I can blindly navigate the menus to watch tv, etc., and hear the accompanying audio. I can even blindly exit the frontend, and still no change to the blue display. A reboot gets me back, but still only lasts a few hours (at most).

Mythfrontend complains constantly:
Xlib: extension "XFree86-VidModeExtension" missing on display ":0.0".
2007-03-31 08:48:41.754 VideoOutputXv Error: GetRefreshRate(): X11 ModeLine query failed

Xlib: extension "XVideo" missing on display ":0.0".
2007-03-31 08:49:04.132 VideoOutputXv Error: XVideo output requested, but is not supported by display.
2007-03-31 08:49:04.133 VideoOutputXv: XvMCTex: Init failed
2007-03-31 08:49:04.133 VideoOutputXv: Falling back to X shared memory video output.
                              *** May be slow ***

Rifling though Xorg.0.log doesn't show XVideo being loaded. Should the extension explicitly be in xorg.conf?

The only common thing I've come across it he following lines in the Xorg.0.log that appear only after the problem has occurred:
(WW) I810(0): Successfully set original devices
(WW) I810(0): Setting the original video mode instead of restoring
        the saved state
(WW) I810(0): Extended BIOS function 0x5f05 failed.
(II) I810(0): BIOS call 0x5f05 not supported, setting refresh with VBE 3 method.
(II) I810(0): xf86UnbindGARTMemory: unbind key 4
(II) I810(0): xf86UnbindGARTMemory: unbind key 0
(II) I810(0): xf86UnbindGARTMemory: unbind key 1
(II) I810(0): xf86UnbindGARTMemory: unbind key 3
(II) I810(0): xf86UnbindGARTMemory: unbind key 2
(WW) I810(0): Successfully set original devices (2)

The hardware is an HP D51S (Integrated Intel Graphics using shared memory), and with an FC4 install of myth, worked lovely.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Craig
