[mythtv-users] issue with USB tv tuner

I'm trying to get a Pinnacle PCTV Pro USB using the em2820 chipset running
with mythtv.  It works fine with xawtv and other tv apps but when trying to
view livetv I get an error in dmesg:

em28xx #0: this driver can be opened only once

and mythbackend reports:

2006-09-17 19:31:15.554 NVR: Can't open video device: /dev/video1

open video:: Device or resource busy

No other apps are open at all let alone one accessing the tuner.  If I exit
mythtv I can open xawtv and watch tv.
