What is the current state of MMX/SSE on 64bit?

When using Myth's "timestretch" feature, it plays HD material *MUCH*
smoother if I am run the 32bit version of FC5 compared to the 64bit
version of FC5. I am pretty sure this is because the 64bit version of
that code has MMX disabled.
