Upgraded last night to latest 0.20 and also tried ensuring my system was
up to date.

Still the same problem.

Ok, again the symptoms. Use mythfrontend and watch TV. Then use the S
key to bring up the channel guide and and select another channel to watch.

Channel tunes & screen shows signal strength (92% for example) SNR etc
and picture appears.

Then mythfrontend will not accept any key stroke command. <Alt> + <Tab>
works, so Gnome isn't frozen.

What I'm wondering is if Myth doesn't realise that the signal is locked.
The reason I wonder this if I select a encrypted channel or a channel
with poor signal quality (using 0.18!) myth does not respond to
keystrokes until it has either given up trying to tune the encrypted
channel & returns to the one I was watching previously or it manages to
lock a channel with poor signal strength.

If this sparks a light with anyone I would be happy to receive any
suggestions.

Otherwise I could do with some assistance with these backtraces &
submitting a bug or otherwise.

I still have suspicion it may be hardware related : Relevant bit of
